Experiential repeatable animation of the mood, textures, and visuals of what it would be like to walk around Alan Gardens. Has potential for Virtual Experience to reach those that are unable to access such locations.
Design Brief
Create a 20 - 30 second looping time-based spatial montage/ split-screen (multi) narrative that reconstructs your event/experience.
Your collage should be a fragmented reconstruction of your event/experience created by the juxtaposition of imagery. Your collage/composition must incorporate a minimum of 4 divisions and can integrate illustration, text, video and/or photography as long as it is in motion. How you divide the composition and its contents are up to you. The divisions can be clearly marked or take on a more organic feel (as shown in the square street studies animation example). The final composition must be 700 x 700 pixels.
AUDIO
Your time-based collage must be accompanied by an original soundtrack. This can be as minimal or complex as you like and should add depth/scale/emotion to your piece. Think diegetic and non-diegetic sounds. Remember, your video loops, so your audio needs to loop as well.
