Choose one individual from the following sectors; science, technology, arts, human rights, or environment that meet the is well known internationally. Ensure that there is substantial and meaningful background information and access to visual imagery material that is high-resolution quality.
The coin would be 3” in diameter (two sides). Side 1. would include a graphic (side or front) silhouette head & shoulder profile of the individual, his/her name and a denomination value of $250 Side 2. would include a simple visual graphic translation symbolizing the essence of his/her contribution, a title in English.
There would also be a design for a coin case (see diagram on the following page) that would consist of a laser cut-out as a coin holder, and a trifold cover + inside double panels for a profile (bio), information about the individual’s contribution and supporting visual imagery.
The coin would be produced as a laser engraving process
