Black Square animation
Design Brief
PROCESS
Using the three-act story structure, create a 10 second looping frame-by-frame animation that begins and ends with a black square as described below. You may create your animation using analogue or digital tools, keeping in mind that the final output is digital. Based on the in-class lecture THE PRINCIPLES OF ANIMATION, choose at least TWO of these principles to incorporate in to your animation.
FORMAT
- 1280 x 720 pixels, 24 frames per second (you may also work at 12 frames per second and export at one drawing for every two frames to create 24 frames per second - one drawing is shown for every two frames of film).
- Start and end your animation with a 2D square of 250x250 pixels in the exact middle of the screen. It must be a black square on a white background. No title page.
