Use appropriate typography and typesetting that compliment the visuals. Manipulate time and principles of animation to create interesting visuals that entice the audience while setting the mood for the rest of the movie/documentary.

Background/Concept

The movie will star an elderly lady passing on her story of her experience of the events, good and bad, during the 228 incident in Taiwan. The story is calm and not solely focused on the tragedy of the incident, but also on how the people pushed through a time of suffering and terror; where humans are able to find the sliver of hope in the toughest situations. The movie is simply just the reminiscing of the past happenings, no grudges, no regrets, but just a recollection of her life as she calmly moves on from it. Mimicking the sense of relief and hope that the annual lantern festival represents, where hopes and dreams are written and released into the night sky, and sending their hopes to the gods.
