NEST NY sample pack

Design Brief

Focus on the design and development of a Point of Purchase (POP) structural package form. The purpose of this form is to house and protect its contents which consists of a minimum of three items that are the same.

This package will provide a reveal of the contents through the use of “dynamic diecuts” that will allow the consumer visual and possibly tactile access to the items. Therefore, the package will not need a photograph or illustration to document its contents. Consumers will be able to see the contents and if designed effectively will also be able to touch them as well. This will create a more profound emotional connection between the brand and the target consumer. The reveal should represent 30% or more of the package surface area (dieline).

You will need to carefully consider the structural design & support for the contents in order to protect and secure them through distribution channels. I would like you to either select an existing brand that currently sells multiples of a given item that uses conventional packaging (no reveal or access) and redesign the package into a unique POP structure OR select an existing brand that currently sells a single item and launch a new multiple POP package.

Use as little substrate as possible!
